Andrew D. Wells
Andrew Wells is Vice Chairman of Fidelity Canada, which includes Fidelity Investments Canada (FIC), Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) and the Canadian equity investment team (Team Canada). As Vice Chairman, he is responsible for strategic development and executive leadership of the organization. Mr. Wells sits on Fidelity International’s Global Operating Committee, where he represents the excellence developed in each of the Canadian businesses throughout the broader Fidelity organization. Using his global viewpoints and experience, Mr. Wells' mandate also includes working to bring the best of Fidelity’s global organization to our Canadian clients, including a wide array of products, tools and investment insights.
Before assuming his current role, Mr. Wells was Global Chief Investment Officer of Fixed Income, Solutions and Real Estate, at Fidelity International. He joined Fidelity International in 1996 and spent the majority of his career as a portfolio manager in London and Hong Kong with Fidelity International. He became Chief Investment Officer, Asian Fixed Income, in 2005 and Global CIO, Fixed Income, in 2007.
Mr. Wells received a B.A. (Hons) from Kingston University in London, U.K. He also belongs to the Association of Corporate Treasurers (A.C.T.) and holds an Investment Management Certificate (I.M.C).
Rob Strickland<br />
Robert Strickland is President of Fidelity Investments Canada ULC (FIC). Fidelity Investments Canada ULC is part of the Fidelity Investments organization of Boston, one of the world's largest providers of financial services. In Canada, Fidelity manages a total of $106 billion in mutual fund and institutional assets (as at March 31, 2015). This includes $20 billion in assets for institutional clients including public and corporate defined benefit pension plans, endowments, foundations and other corporate assets on behalf of clients across Canada.
Mr. Strickland joined FIC in 2003 as Executive Vice-President and Head of Fidelity Advisor Sales. He was appointed to his current position in March 2005.
Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Strickland held a number of senior positions with TD Bank Financial Group, including president, TD Waterhouse Financial Planning; chief operating officer, Tokyo-Mitsubishi TD Waterhouse Securities Co. in Tokyo; and president, TD Evergreen.
Mr. Strickland received an HBA from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1983 and an MBA from McMaster University in 1987.
Michael Barnett<br />

Michael Barnett is executive vice president, Institutional at Fidelity Investments Canada ULC. In this role, he is responsible for growing Fidelity Canada’s institutional distribution capabilities in the Canadian institutional market. Fidelity Investments Canada ULC is part of the Fidelity Investments organization of Boston, one of the world's largest providers of financial services. In Canada, Fidelity manages a total of $106 billion in mutual fund and institutional assets (as at March 31, 2015). This includes $20 billion in assets for institutional clients including public and corporate defined benefit pension plans, endowments, foundations and other corporate assets on behalf of clients across Canada.
In 2010, Mr. Barnett became executive vice president, head of North American Institutional Sales at Pyramis. In 2006, he was named executive vice president with responsibility for overall growth and daily operations of Fidelity’s institutional business in Canada. In 2005, he was appointed senior vice president of Sales for Fidelity’s retail business, a $30 billion entity, in charge of revamping that group’s structure and strategy. In 2004, Mr. Barnett was appointed vice president, Advisor Distribution, responsible for several major initiatives to advance Fidelity’s Advisor Distribution business. He joined Fidelity in 1999 and has held a number of senior leadership roles within Fidelity’s Advisor Distribution business in Canada, first as a district vice president and then as a vice president, regional sales manager for Ontario. Before joining Fidelity, he worked for O’Donnell Financial Services from 1997 to 1999 and for Mackenzie Financial Corp. from 1987 to 1997. He has been in the industry since 1987.
Mr. Barnett earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Long Island University.
President and Chief Investment Officer
Andrew Marchese is president and CIO at Fidelity (Canada) Asset Management ULC. In this role, he leads Team Canada, the Canadian equity research team for Canadian equity strategies sold to Canadian investors. Additionally, he manages the Canadian Systematic Equity and the Canadian Core Equity strategies. He is also the lead portfolio manager for Fidelity Canadian Disciplined Equity Fund.
Mr. Marchese was appointed president in June 2014 and Chief Investment Officer in January 2014. Previously, he was head of Canadian Equities, a position he was appointed to in March 2009. Mr. Marchese became director of Research for Team Canada, in addition to his portfolio management duties, in January 2007. In March 2005, he was promoted to portfolio manager of the Canadian Systematic Equity strategy. Mr. Marchese joined Fidelity in August 1998 as an equity research associate, and was promoted to an equity research analyst in February 2000. During his research tenure, his responsibilities included coverage of industries in the financials, consumer discretionary, materials, technology, and health care sectors for Team Canada.
Mr. Marchese earned a bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Toronto and a master’s of business administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Pam Holding is chief investment officer of Fidelity Institutional Asset ManagementSM (FIAMSM), an investment organization within Fidelity Investments’ asset management division that is dedicated to serving the needs of consultants and institutional investors, such as defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments and financial advisors. In this role, she is responsible for FIAM’s equity portfolio management, investment research and risk management functions.
Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Holding was chief investment officer of Pyramis Global Advisors, a Fidelity Investments company focused on investment products and solutions for institutional customers.
Before joining Pyramis in 2013, Ms. Holding was chief investment officer and senior portfolio manager of the Global Value Equities team at Putnam Investments from 2001 to 2009. Prior to that, she was Head of European and International Equity Research from 1999 to 2001 in Putnam’s London office. Ms. Holding also held several fixed income research positions after joining Putnam in 1995. From 1992 to 1995, she was a senior high-yield bond analyst at Kemper Financial Services. She has been in the investments industry since 1986.
Ms. Holding earned her bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University and her master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.
